Check out Elizaveta Yankelovich's eccentric necklaces shot exclusively for Vanity Overkill. We're a little bit obsessed!

Years ago I was sucked in to a tangible fashion fantasy when I attended Alternative Arts and Fashion Week in Toronto (FAT). The ever enchanting jewelry line by Elizaveta Yankelovich is something I continue to fantasize over to this day. She takes something so common in your day to day life and turns it in to a piece of art. I am blown away every time I look at her pieces. You will often see her necklaces teamed up with a cute tutu or a pair of rubber boots.

Elizaveta creates pieces out of all sorts of different things. At the fashion show, I felt like I was watching a fairy tale on a runway. She created jewelry out of gold plates, toy dream houses, toy horses, ribbons and flowers, spools of thread, paint samples and a myriad of other objects you wouldn't even think of!  This girl could take anything and turn it into something that I would slay a dragon just to get my hands on. She is like a way hotter version of Rumpelstiltskin who could turn straw into gold!

A couple weeks ago we borrowed some of Elizaveta's pieces from the Fashion Whore Boutique and did a shoot exclusively for Vanity Overkill readers! Check out these amazing necklaces, all of them are unique and affordable. She sells her jewelry on Etsy or if you live in Toronto you can get them at the Fashion Whore Boutique.
